Background
The Congress Energy and the Environment 2010, the 22nd in the series, will be held from October 18 to October 22, 2010 in Opatija, Croatia. The overarching theme “Engineering for a Low-Carbon Future” is in accordance with the high priority given to climate protection both at the global and the EU level, and in particular with the goals of the energy and climate package, recently adopted by the EU.The first part of the Congress, starting on Monday, October 18, and ending on Tuesday, October 19, 2010 is the Energy and Climate Conference.
The second part of the Congress is the Symposium Heat Transfer in Components and Systems for Sustainable Energy Technologies (Heat-SET), the 3rd in series, starting on Wednesday, October 20, and ending on Friday, October 22, 2010.
